緊急避妊薬の販売年齢制限の撤廃を命じる（米国）

　さまざまな宗教観や価値観の違いから、時に政治問題にも発展する米国の緊急避妊薬の問題ですが、5日、ニューヨークの連邦判事が、これまで17歳未満は処方せんが必要とした米保健福祉省の措置（TOPICS 2011.12.08）を取り消す判断を示し、米国では大きな話題となっています。

　Medpage TODAY　によれば、“available without a prescription and without point-of-sale or age restrictions” となっているので、年齢制限を解除するだけではなく、セルフセレクションでの販売も求めているようです。

　今回の司法判断は、the Center for Reproductive Rights. の訴えにより行われたもので、同センターでは今回の判断を受け、歓迎の意を示しています。
